Celebrate Home, the 2008 Glide Annual Holiday Festival, was held on Thursday, December 18 at the Hilton San Francisco. Cecil Williams, Janice Mirikitani, and the Glide community welcomed Senator Dianne Feinstein as the guest speaker for this year's celebration.

This year's Honorary Hosts include Richard Blum and Chris Gardner, Sr. Christopher Gardner, Jr. attended in place of his father as Mr. Gardner, Sr. was unable to join the evening's festitivities. Together, they raise their glass for a special toast in celebration of Glide.

Renel Brooks Moon (Radio Host of KISSFM 98.1) and the Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr. bring the heat as they welcome guests to the Glide Annual Holiday Festival as 2008's Co-MCs.

After hearing about ABC7's report on the food shortage experienced during this holiday's Glide Grocery Bag Giveaway, Salesforce.com moved quickly to help. The drive was launched by Craig Ramsey, a board member of SalesForce.com. He contacted SalesForce.com executives, including Marc Benioff and Suzanne DiBianca (Executive Director, Salesforce.com Foundation, pictured above left), and offered $10,000 to be matched by them. By the end of a chain of donations that included Benioff's promise to match $100,000, $223,691 had been raised for Glide. Also, pictured is Willa Seldon (CEO, Glide Foundation).
