Countless parents are kept out of the workforce by a lack of affordable, reliable child care. Glide's Peggy and Fred Furth Childcare Center and Glide's Infant Care Facility shine as a beacon to struggling parents by offering a nurturing, educational space for infants and toddlers during the workday. The programs are developmentally appropriate, using a "learn through play" curriculum that means the children have fun while honing their motor, pre-math, pre-language and pre-science skills.

 

Glide's Childcare programs are located at the Janice Mirikitani Family,Youth, and Childcare Center (434 ELLIS STREET) and the Cecil Williams Glide Community House (333 TAYLOR STREET).
