We are proud to invite you to be a sponsor for Celebrate Home, Glide’s Annual Holiday Festival to be held the evening of Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the San Francisco Hilton Hotel.

For more than 44 years, Glide has worked to create a home for those in need who have none, where people in search of community and family come to get real help and care.  People have commented to us what home means to them:  

Thousands of people have felt at home at Glide where three hot meals are served every day; caregivers attend to physical and emotional needs; empowerment programs train, educate and encourage people to make real changes in their lives; and people know they are loved, accepted and not alone.

Home is more precious than ever now, with people losing their homes to foreclosure or being forced to choose between paying for food, medicine or rent because they can’t make ends meet.  At Glide we see the growing need firsthand. For the first two months of this year the demand for food, health care, child care and emergency services increased 10% more than the same time last year.

As a Celebrate Home sponsor you will receive the many benefits outlined in the enclosure, including your name printed on the Celebrate Home invitation and in the program acknowledging you as an important partner with Glide. We are also pleased to enclose the Glide newsletter that describes last year’s Holiday Festival and acknowledges the sponsors of that event.
