APRIL & MAY 2008 ELECTRONIC WASTE COLLECTION
TO BENEFIT GLIDE FOUNDATION
- Spring cleaning at home or work?
- Holding on to those old computer monitors, TV’s, keyboards and other electronic equipment waiting for a responsible way to dispose of them?
- Want to benefit Glide Foundation while you’re purging your old electronics?
AERC/Com-Cycle will set up temporary sites and Glide volunteers will assist to collect your e-waste on Fridays and Saturdays of April and May at various San Francisco parks. A portion of the reimbursement AERC/Com-Cycle receives from the State of California will benefit Glide. So bring your old electronic waste to a collection site near you!

- Computer Peripherals (printers, scanners, plotters, copiers)
- Computer accessories (keyboards, mice, speakers, cords, cables)
- External disk memory and hard disk drives* (*confidential data destruction available)
- Circuit boards and electronic components/chips
- Office/Business Equipment
- Photocopiers and multiuse copiers (copy, fax, scan, print)
- Telephone telecommunication switching systems
- PDAs, PDA cradles and other hand held devices
- Cellular phones and cell phone chargers
- Media
- Toner cartridges (inkjet and laser printers)
- CDs and jewel cases, DVDs, magnetic tape
- Diskettes

Items that will NOT be accepted:
- Primarily “electric”/”with a cord” consumer electric items such as:
- Oscillating fans
- Desk and floor lamps
- Small kitchen appliances (toaster, toaster oven, blender, mixer, etc.)
- Small hand held power tools
- Small personal cosmetic appliances (portable hair dryers, shavers, curling irons, etc.
- Vacuum cleaners
