YOUTHBUILD PROGRAM
The Glide YouthBuild Program is a leadership and training program for 16-24 year-old youth from San Francisco’s poorest and most violent neighborhoods. The program includes onsite construction skills training, personal development and leadership skills workshops, GED preparation and the ability to earn academic credit towards a high school diploma. It places graduates in apprenticeship opportunities with building trade unions (Carpentry, Drywall, Ironwork, Cement Masons).
