YOUTHBUILD SCHOLARS PROGRAM
The Glide YouthBuild Scholars Program helps youth and young adults who did not complete high school earn their GED or high school diploma and enroll in post- secondary education or vocational training targeting high-wage, high growth professions.
This is a 4 month educational program administered by the John Muir Charter School and case managed by the Glide Foundation. This program is an educational program designed to prepare the clients for entry into the City College of San Francisco vocational program or the Associate Degree program. Glide provides case management for the clients throughout their educational experience at City College and job placement opportunities upon completion of this program.
- In 2007, 32 youth who had dropped out of school earned their GED and/or high school diploma.
