Glide Recovery Program
Glide's comprehensive recovery program addresses the heart of addiction. Racism, poverty, sexual and other abuse, violence, battering and rejection. These are the deeper issues that drive chemical dependency. In Glide's recovery circles, people learn to define themselves and the causes of their addiction. Our program is culturally based, trauma informed, and gender sensitive, led by an experienced and loving staff. The Recovery Program is held at
330 Ellis Street. Glide offers the following recovery services:
Recovery Circles (open to all)
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 11am - 12:30pm
Meal tickets will be provided during the meeting. No waiting in the food line.
90-day Outpatient Alcohol, Tobacco & Drug Treatment Program* (enrollment required)
-Overview of Substance Use Disorders: Bio-psycho-social-spiritual model
-Withdrawal, Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS) and craving
-Healthy relationship development and effective communication skills
-Thinking errors and denial management
-Stress, anger and mood management strategies
-Smoking cessation
-Relapse prevention planning and aftercare
*This is a certified and licensed program for adults, 18 and over. Intake is required.
Glide Aftercare Group (program graduates of all generations welcome)
Tuesday, 2:30pm - 4pm
Drop in Hours (for referrals, crisis intervention and new patients)
Thursday, 2:00 - 5:00pm
