GLIDE is the only site in the Tenderloin where people can reserve a bed in San Francisco's shelter system. Reservations can be made in the Walk-In Center through the CHANGES system for 1-day and weekend beds on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are seeking a 90-day bed reservation we can also assist with enrolling you on the 311 wait list.
Shelter Reservation Hours

Ticekts are distributed at 7am and signups for shelter start at 3:30 left of the main entrance at 330 Ellis Street.

Rental Assistance Info
GLIDE, in collaboration with the Seasons of Sharing Fund and Catholic Charities, provides access to financial help for individuals and families with back rent, rental and security deposits, and other critical needs. We do rental assistance screening and intakes on the First and Third Friday of every month.
Rental Assistance Hours:
First and Third Friday of every month. Number distribution starts at 7am, meetings with case managers start at 9:30am.
*Please note that a line often forms to the left of the main entrance at 330 Ellis Street. We screen and assist the first five clients on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligibility guidelines are determined per funding source not Glide Foundation. Applicants must be a San Francisco resident, provide proof of income, and have the ability to pay rent and expenses moving forward.

Basic Needs Services
GLIDE provides discounted vouchers for DMV Identification Cards, housing information, application assistance, referrals, benefit enrollments and hygiene kits.
Hygiene kits are distributed Monday, Wednesdays and Friday beginning at 8:30am, to the first 10 people in line outside to the left of the building. You an receive a hygiene kit every two weeks.
For all other services please visit us in room 101 during our normal service times.

Case Management and Family Resource Center
Glide case managers work with individuals and families to offer support on meeting short-term and long-term goals, build on strengths to move beyond crisis situations and work towards greater stability.
Glide Walk-In Center partners with our Family, Youth and Childcare Center (FYCC) to provide integrated and comprehensive services for parents/caregivers and their children. FYCC delivers family programming on-site at 434 Ellis St.
