Dear Educators,

Please join us at Glide Memorial Church (330 Ellis at Taylor in San Francisco) on Sunday, May 7 at 9 or 11 am, for an inspiring and uplifting celebration of teaching and learning and our shared commitment to social justice and anti-bias in education. Our church service is titled “Blessing in the Storm: A Celebration of Strength & Resilience through Teaching and Learning.” It will be a time for us to come together and recognize the strength and perseverance that it takes to be an educator. It promises to be a time of celebration and renewal with uplifting music by the world-renowned Glide Ensemble and the Change Band, inspiring speakers, and a time of reflection as we give thanks for the invaluable role that teachers play in our community.

This Celebration at Glide Church will emphasize the importance of social justice and anti-bias in schools, and we believe that it will be a valuable experience for all educators who attend. As teachers, we know that you work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of your students, and we want to recognize and celebrate the hard work and dedication that you put into shaping the lives of our future generation.
