There are many ways to contribute to Glide Church with your time, volunteer hours and prayer.  In this post we are focusing on some of the financial ways that people can contribute.  Back in the days when everyone put their pledges and donations in the offering plate things were simpler.  Today, particularly with part of our congregation worshiping virtually, the ways you can give has expanded.  We are sharing these methods so that we can connect those who want to give with the types of giving that they prefer. No matter how you give or how much you give, your donations are appreciated and help is provide love, support and sanctuary to the Tenderloin.

Pledge. Pledged support is our preferred method of receiving support.  Pledging helps us budget for the future and have a better understanding of what to expect.  If you want to be a monthly giver, you can include a note and a check in the amount of your monthly support in the offering.  There are pledge forms in each pew and at the information table in the back of the sanctuary.  You can also mail this check to Church Office, 2nd Floor, 330 Ellis St., San Francisco, CA 94102.  We will use the check to set up your donation for you.  If you prefer paying by credit card you can set that up here.

Offering.  We collect offering at our Sunday Celebrations.  If you are worshiping in person you can donate by putting cash or check in the offering box, by Dip (see below) or by click and pledge (above).  If you enjoy the ritual of sharing you gift during worship, this may be the best option for you.

Dip.  Please know that there is a small percentage taken out of any gifts that are paid via credit card. If you would like your full donation to go to Glide Church, consider some of the other options listed on this page.

Facebook.

• Facebook Donations. You can donate through Facebook here.  Currently, Facebook pays the credit card processing fees, which enables 100% of your credit card donation to benefit Glide Church.
• Birthday Fundraisers. Create a fundraiser for your birthday, a special event or to encourages your friends and family to joy you in supporting Glide Church.  Click here and click the “raise money” button to start a fundraiser for Glide Memorial Church.
• Donate stars.  You can add donations to the comment sections of any video we post.  Each star provides one penny to Glide Church.  You can learn more and purchase stars here.

Merch. Stop buy our store at the Sunday Celebration or our Facebook Store.  Proceeds from sales benefit the church.

YouTube.

• Watch. Glide Church receives a small royalty each time you watch our YouTube videos.  This is one way that you can help Glide receive funds without donating anything from your own pocket.
• Send Supers.  You can let us know what kind of content you like by sending supers.  Please note that YouTube takes a portion of each gift, so only about half of the funds you send through supers make it to Glide Church.  If you would like your full donation to go to Glide Church, consider some of the other options above.
