Come celebrate the poetic life of Janice Mirikitani on the 2nd anniversary of her ascension at our 9 and 11 am Sunday Celebrations on July 30th. The “Remembering Janice: A Divine Poetry Rite” will feature Antoine Hunter and Zahna Simon of Urban Jazz Dance Company, Poet and Playwright Ramona Laughing Brook Webb, Minister Marvin K. White, and other special guests.
We have erected a Poetry Altar in the sanctuary. There are tags available at the prayer baskets and at the Information Table where you can write down the thing you need to get free from on one side and write down the thing you need to get free for on the other. This special Celebration and commemoration will be the Janice Mirikitani Poetry Altar’s final activation for July.
