GLIDE Forward
UPDATE – November 17th, 2024
GLIDE’s Yoga is back in person & online!
It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve our community and we are excited to bring back our community yoga program. Moving forward, we envision a new and refreshed GLIDE Yoga program, continuing to expand on our mission of providing accessible yoga to everyone.
We offer free weekly yoga classes, both in-person and online, welcoming people from all backgrounds to experience the full benefits of yoga for body, mind, and spirit.
Open to all levels, Yoga classes blend ancient yoga philosophy with GLIDE’s mission of unconditional love in action. Our dedicated volunteer teachers bring these classes to our community, and while all classes are free, donations are welcome & appreciated to support our teachers and program.
Location: 330 Ellis St – Glide Memorial Church Sanctuary (2nd Floor)
RSVP for the classes or to receive access to the online meeting, please contact fmartin@glide.org.
Walk-ins are also welcome!

How long are the classes?
Classes are generally 60 minutes long.
What style of yoga is it?
We teach all kinds of yoga! One of the wonderful things about Yoga is that we have many diverse teachers with different backgrounds. Our style can be described as “all levels” and “accessible” because we aim to make each class approachable for people with various body types and levels of experience.
What do I need to bring? You can bring your own yoga mat but we have a collection of mats and props for everyone to use, which means the only thing people need to bring is themselves in comfy clothing.
How many students generally attend?
This highly depends on the day / time of year / climate / etc. Our average class is around 5 students, we sometimes have as few as one (free private yoga session!) and sometimes as many as 15. The room could accommodate many more.
Do you have to register to attend?
The class is drop-in and completely free! To help our teachers plan, we do encourage you to sign up by emailing fmartin@glide.org.
