A Fiery Sunday with Congresswoman Lateefah Simon at GLIDE

Sunday, August 17th - 11 AM. We’re welcoming Congresswoman Lateefah Simon to Glide Memorial Church. She’ll bring a fiery, truth-telling message you won’t want to miss. Congresswoman Simon will speak out against the devastating “Big Ugly, Cruel Bill” and its cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and other vital programs. These cuts threaten the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors, but community power has carried us through tough times before, and it can again. Her message will honor the courage of marginalized people, caregivers, and government workers, standing in radical love.

These tows strip people of their shelter, transportation, belongings, and dignity—all because they can’t afford alternatives.
