Virtual Registration and Orientation
Volunteers may register for shifts online, via email, or by phone. All orientations are offered virtually via Zoom. Zoom links are emailed by 3pm on the day of orientation.
Daily Health Screening
- All onsite personnel (staff, volunteers, contractors, etc.) who enter our building must check-in at the front desk and complete a health screening questionnaire daily.
- Any staff or volunteer who does not feel well should cancel their shifts. Those who do not pass the health screening on site will be asked to reschedule their shifts.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- GLIDE no longer has an active mask mandate inside the building, meaning staff, volunteers, and community members alike are not required to wear a mask upon entering the building. However, we do have PPE stations in all common areas of the building should you wish to utilize a mask or hand sanitizer.
- Per food safety and health code, all Meals Program volunteers will be required to wear disposable gloves, aprons and hair nets which GLIDE provides.
Sanitation
GLIDE has increased its daily sanitation of common areas.
Vaccination Against COVID-19
- Placing the health and safety of the entire GLIDE community as our highest priority, GLIDE will be requiring volunteers working onsite to be fully vaccinated.
- Fully vaccinated is defined as two (2) full weeks after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or two (2) full weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
- Volunteers must be able to verify their fully vaccinated status with GLIDE’s Volunteer Program prior to the start of their shift.
